The holiday period is fast approaching. If you have overseas travel arranged and have applied for a further visa in Australia, you need to ensure you hold a visa which allows you to re-enter Australia during the processing of your visa application.
On 1 July 2017 the Department of Immigration and Border Protection introduced a number of changes to different visa subclasses. One of these changes affected the age requirements for the visa subclasses from the Working Holiday Visa Program.
In addition to changes to the Visa Application Charges (VAC) as a result of the 2017-2018 budget, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection has announced that VAC for Working Holiday Maker will be raised to $440 from 1 July 2017.
Changes to the Subclass 462 visa are due to be introduced on 19th November 2016.
