English language test changes for Australian visas

The Department of Home Affairs will no longer accept TOEFL iBT English language test results for Australian visa applications for tests undertaken from 26th July 2023.

Valid TOEFL iBT scores from tests undertaken before the 26th of July, 2023, can still be used for Australian visa applications.

For several visa application types, meeting the English requirement is a time of application requirement.
