Skill Select- Results from Invitation Round 18 December 2023

The Government conducted their first invitation round since May 2023 for Subclass 189 visas and Subclass 491 visas (family sponsored) in December 2023. 

8300 invitations were issued for the Skilled Independent Visa ( Subclass 189)

79 invitations were issued for the Skilled Work Regional ( Provisional) visa ( Subclass 491)- Family Sponsored. 

The below table shows the occupations and their respective minimum score, that were issued invitations in the SkillSelect invitation round on 18 December 2023.

It is not known when the Department of Home Affairs will conduct their next invitation round.
