Victoria open for State Sponsorship

Victoria have opened their state sponsorship program for the 2022/2023 migration year for the Subclass 190 and 491 skilled visa programs.

Victoria has opened to applicants in Australia and overseas. The program includes all occupations on the Department of Home Affairs occupations list for the relevant visa subclass.

To be considered for Victorian state sponsorship, a Registration of Interest (ROI) must be lodged.

The following occupation groups will be prioritised:

  • Healthcare and social services

  • Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)

  • Advanced manufacturing, digital and innovation economy

  • Chef, cook, accommodation and hospitality managers (for the 491 visa)

  • Early childhood, secondary and special education teachers

If you have lodged your Expression of Interest (EOI), and have not yet received an invitation, or want to review your skilled visa options, contact SCA Connect to talk about how we can help you.
