Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
The Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) is a points-tested permanent residence visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. The nomination adds points to your score, but each state sets its own occupation lists and nomination requirements to obtain sponsorship, and those change regularly. To qualify you'll generally need an occupation on the relevant list, a suitable skills assessment, at least competent English, and a nomination from a state or territory whose criteria you meet.
