New opportunities for Peruvian passport holders

Complete a FREE ONLINE ASSESSMENT to check your eligibility.

Peruvian passport holders have now been added to the eligible countries for the Australian Work and Holiday Visa (Subclass 462).

A Subclass 462 visa allows the visa holder to:

  • stay in Australia for up to 12 months

  • work in Australia, generally for up to six months with each employer

  • study for up to four months

  • leave and re-enter Australia any number of times while the visa is valid

  • apply for a second Work and Holiday visa if they have worked for three months in northern Australia in tourism and hospitality, agriculture, or forestry and fishing.

Applicants must be under the age of 31 at the time of application. Peruvian passport holders will need to have tertiary qualifications or have successfully completed at least 2 years of undergraduate university study.

The visa will allow Peruvian passport holders an opportunity to experience Australia whilst travelling and working.
